Many of you will be dining somewhere when the event is being held at Tokyo Big Sight.
Some people decide in advance, “Let’s go here! Some of you may have already decided on the place you want to go, while others may think about it after arriving at the venue. If you are going to go all the way, it would be nice to go to a memorable place that you would not normally go to.
The event is held every year, so you will want to know where to dine.
I went to this event at the International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition (HCR).
Please refer to the past articles about how I went to the event.
See the article below for how I came to know about the International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition.
Here are some of the places we dined at this time.
- Cuisine of Al Porto
- Other Information
- Means of transportation
- Business hours
- Restaurants & Shops
- Convenience stores, etc.
Cuisine of Al Porto
The restaurant is located on the 8th floor of the East Hall at Tokyo Big Sight.
Italian Restaurant Al Porto Tokyo Big Sight
It would be a great way to commemorate the view outside.
This is an authentic restaurant. I am glad I went there with a stylish corset!
Location: East Hall 1, 8F
There is a multi-purpose restroom on the same floor, which is wheelchair accessible.
Business hours: 11:00 – 15:00 (L.O. 14:00) – 17:00 – 22:00 (L.O. 20:00)
Charge: Lunch: about 1,500 yen to 2,500 yen; Dinner: about 4,000 yen to 6,000 yen
Produced by Chef Mamoru Kataoka of the famous Italian restaurant “Al Porto” in Nishi-Azabu, this restaurant is located in a beautiful location on the top floor of the Tokyo Big Sight conference building. It is also recommended for its night view. It can be used for a wide range of occasions from everyday dining to business occasions such as business entertainment.
This restaurant offers lunch and dinner courses, but you need to make a reservation online a few days in advance to dine here, as advance reservations were required. When we called the restaurant even on the day of our visit, there were no seats available for the lunch slot, so we managed to get in for the evening slot.
It is really frustrating when you go to a restaurant not knowing that you have to make a reservation in advance and you can’t get in.
Here is the website of the restaurant.

Please feel free to let us know if you have any food allergies or any other food items that you have difficulty with. We were very grateful that they made the menu edible.
There are 9 dishes in the dinner course in addition to the 5 dishes, but the 5 dishes alone are very large, so you will be full.
Here are some photos of the dishes one by one!
Eggs, tomatoes and onions, soup, ham and potatoes!
By the way, the focaccia (bread) can be refilled freely!
I dipped them in a special yellow-green sauce (olive oil) and they were so good I ate about three of them!
1 hot dish of the day
The dish was warm and toasty with cheese inside the eggs.
This was also a very warm meal and the spaghetti was delicious.
Today’s Main Course
Meat or Fish
It was divided into small portions so that even I, who do not like hard food, could eat it.
Thank you very much.
Coffee or Tea
Strawberry roll cake, mint, lemon sherbet, blueberry, raspberry delicious.
The last dessert was really too good(^^♪
That’s the right tableware for tea and dessert.
A scene from a drama, lol.
All the food was delicious, and the view of the night was a great place to commemorate the event! I had a great dinner with my friends who went with me after the event, and it all went by so fast. I can’t wait to go back. I wish I could go during lunch time next time.♪
It is nice to dine and relax at a place like this. It is recommended as a place to have lunch, dinner, date, or girls’ night out at Tokyo Big Sight, so everyone, please make reservations in advance via the Internet and visit!

I heard that the East Hall will be the venue, so I hope this will be helpful as we will be going to the same place.
I am sure those of you who are actually disabled and in wheelchairs are wondering how you got to the venue of the “International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition” H・C・R. The last time I attended, I used various means of transportation to get there due to time and weather conditions.
In my previous article, I talked about the means of transportation I used to get to the International Exhibition Hall Station (Rinkai Line) and Tokyo Big Sight Station (Yurikamome Line).
If you are planning to visit the Tokyo Big Sight venue for future “International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition for the Handicapped” events, please refer to the following information on how to get there.
